Help Olivia Bring Joy To Kids In Hospitals

My name is Olivia Belden and I am raising money for Hospital Hugs , an organization that I recently started with the help of Children For Change. The goal of Hospital Hugs is to bring care packages full of joy to kids who have to stay in the hospital. The idea was inspired by my own hospital experience, and how much every care package that I received during my stay there meant to me.

I have already found a hospital that is excited to give my care packages to their patients (Stanford Children's Hospital) and spoken to the Lucille Packard Foundation to find out what children staying there most need and enjoy. Each package will include art supplies, stickers, chapstick, nail polish, a comforting stuffed animal, and an insulated water bottle, among other things, and cost roughly $30 to $50 (depending on how many donated items we get). My friends and I have begun a series of bake sales and other efforts to raise money for the care packages, but the more money we can raise, the more packages we will be able to deliver. This is where you come in!
