Please Help Bring Gregory Home

Our friend and co-worker, Michael Coy, suddenly lost his father, Gregory, this past Friday, September 1st, 2017. During this heartbreaking time, we wish that the Coy family could find some peace, comfort, and closure as they confront this enormous loss. Unfortunately, Mike and his family are not only in the midst of mourning, but they too must navigate the difficult logistics of bringing Gregory to his final place of rest.

You see, this tragedy struck as Gregory and his wife Celia were enjoying a vacation outside the United States. The Coy family is now reviewing the international laws and procedures for helping to bring their loved one home from the Bahamas—working closely with remote funeral service providers and the US Embassy. In the brief time I had to review this, I have found that this task is much more difficult and costly than I could ever have imagined. This is a time when the Coy family should be focusing on the final services to celebrate the life of Gregory. We may all feel helpless in this moment, but we are not. Please join with me to help support the Coy family in their efforts to bring Gregory home. I have been in contact with Mike Coy these past days, and we all want him and his family to be free of the added emotional and financial stress of this situation.
