Help Buttons Heal

Poor, sweet little Buttons was attacked by another dog late on the evening of August 23rd. She had to undergo eight hours of surgery to repair the damage caused by the attack. Thankfully, Buttons is a fighter and pulled through the extensive surgery. She remains in the animal hospital while she recovers. It will take several days to know whether the surgery has been successful, but for now Buttons is gaining more strength each day.

We have launched this campaign on behalf of her human, Shanna Todd. Those of you know Shanna well, know that her world revolves around her precious furbaby, Buttons. When faced with the financial decisions surrounding the surgery, there was only one option she would pursue: spare no expense to give Buttons the chance to fight for her life.

To date, the animal hospital bills have reached a staggering $20,000 dollars (we're hoping insurance will cover some of the difference between the campaign and the final cost). While the animal hospital really, truly has taken fantastic care of Buttons, they cannot do expensive procedures without upfront payment. Therefore, it is urgent that we help Shanna cover these costs as soon as possible. Shanna has been incredibly brave throughout this whole ordeal, but it would help her immensly if we helped ease her financial worry so she can just focus on B's recovery.
