I am Brad Davis and this Go-Fund-Me account is being setup to help my daughter, Briana, with the medical expenses associated with her battle with Stage 4 breast cancer. If our prayers are answered and Briana wins her battle with cancer, any remaining funds after medical expenses will go towards Eastons college fund.
Briana (Davis) Sykes is a 30 year old woman who lives in Mason City, Iowa and is an employee of Prairie Ridge Treatment Center. She has a loving husband (Rob) and a beautiful 1 year old son (Easton) who took his first steps on August 13.
Briana has been diagnosed with Stage 4 invasive carcinoma that has metastasized into C3 neck vertebrae. The cancer has been classified as estrogen and progesterone positive and Her2 negative. In laymans terms, it is the best scenario as far as hormone behavior in breast cancer is concerned.
After completing a full month of intense medical testing at Mason City Cancer Center and at the Mayo Clinic, Briana was able to start a 13 week Chemotherapy program on August 10th 2016.
My goal is to let Briana and Rob take on the hard job of fighting cancer on a daily basis and taking care of Easton. Our job, you - me - family - friends - coworkers, is to take on the easy stuff, like raising money to cover the overwhelming medical expenses, along with all those hidden costs like travel, meals, lodging, etc.
To all of the family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones of Briana, Rob, and Easton; this is your wake-up call, this is your chance to help someone in need, this is your chance to do a good thing for a good family.
