As most of you know, last year I started profiling fellow Stocksy.com photographers with short videos. I travelled over to Melanie in Ohio, and drove up to Chicago for Gabi . I'm planning on meeting Sean in St. Louis, and hope to eventually film Amanda in Michigan, and anyone else I can drive to from little ol' Indiana. (I'm looking at you, NYC and FL).

But I've never left the contintental United States in my life (unless you count a sailboat from Miami to Andros once?), and I decided it's about time I did something about that.

Stocksy has an amazing international roster of photographers, and a few of them are in the Ireland/UK region. In the US, I'm happy to incorporate the travel for these videos into my year pro-bono, but this trip involves substantial travel costs (which I'll outline below).

Here's the plan: in late February, I'll make the trek outlined see above... stopping in Dublin for both Mattia and Catherine , then over to the UK for Neil and Darren . Four really great photographers, and a nice diverse set for the trip. (I wish I could see more people in the south -- maybe next time). Here's a photo of Mattia in the street, just because:

Whether you are involved at Stocksy, or just want me to leave town for a while, it would be awesome to have the travel costs funded for this work. I plan to have some fun rewards to keep it interesting as well (scroll all the way down for those).

In the interest of staying conservative and transparent, here is how the $1,562 breaks down:

Stocksy HQ compensates me for the video production, which will cover all of my editing and post-production time (approx. 6 days for these 4 videos, as I plan to source/record a lot of the music for these). This is also turning out to be a good deal of time planning (the trip and the shoots). All of the time spent shooting and traveling is a lot of 'work' (lugging all the gear around yourself), but I love it!
