It's been 23 wonderful years of ministry for Brian and I.  We have served 5 congregations together since 1992.  Brian graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in 1994 with a BA in Biblical Studies.  Since that time Brian has taken some seminary courses, but wanted to dive head first into ministry.  Over the years, mentors and close friends told him that obtaining a Masters degree wouldn't benefit him as much as practical experience in the field.  Now in our ministry at Grace Point Community Church in Tigard, Oregon, Brian serves with elders who work at Western Seminary.  Brian and I determined that it's time for him to continue his formal education to enrich his current pastoral ministry.  He intends to earn a MA in Ministry and Leadership .  He would like to complete 8-10 credit hours in the next 12 months.  Lord willing! :-) Each credit hour is $550.00.   
The Seminary grant and scholarship programs are designed for students taking 10-15 credit hours.  Although we would probaby qualify for these programs, Brian cannot commit to the time away from ministry to complete the required hours for these scholarships.  
      We are prayfully considering this opportunity and would like to cast the net to those who have invested in our ministry throughout the years.  We need your prayers and financial support to accomplish this goal.
