The Burlington County Sheriff’s Office regrets to announce the passing of Officer Brian Miller badge number 3587. Officer Miller was a seventeen (17) year member of the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Miller graduated from the Burlington County Police Academy Class 91 in 2006. In 2007, Officer Miller became a K-9 handler of Explosive Detection with his K9 partner Donatello. They graduated from the New Jersey State Police Canine Academy on July 23, 2007. Officer Miller and K9 Donatello conducted numerous explosive sweeps and calls for service throughout the State. Upon K9 Donatello’s retirement Officer Miller became a member of the Sherriff’s Office Traffic Unit. Officer Miller was also a Field Training Officer and participated in several programs in support of the citizens of Burlington County including the Youth Police Academy, Child Safety Seats and Youth Mentoring Programs. Officer Miller was proud of the work he did and the accomplishments he achieved during his career.

Officer Miller leaves behind two boys Noah (11) and Brandon (9). Burlington County Sheriff’s Officer’s FOP 166 will be collecting donations for “Brian’s Boys.” All proceeds collected will be given to the trust fund benefiting “Brian’s Boys”.
