Brian & Kim Guidera family support

Brian & Kim Guidera are expecting their baby girl in the end of July.  The baby has been diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia on the right-side. They will temporarily be moving to Philadelphia at the end of June where Kim and the baby will be taken care of at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).  The baby will immediately be put on a ventilator when she is born until she is stable enough to go through major surgery a few days after her birth. She will then have to stay at CHOP for anywhere from 3 – 6 months.  Brian will be commuting from the Philadelphia area to work. Brian is the Competitive Aquatics Director at the Westfield Area YMCA.  Head swim team coach for 10 years.

Kim is a Senior Production Manager for the NHL.
