Bree “Nuk” Black, a 27-year-old Black transgender woman was killed in Pompano Beach, Florida on July 3rd of an apparent gunshot wound. The Broward Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the community in solving her murder, but no other information about the case has been released at this time. We are saddened by her violent murder, and angered by the continued violence against our transwomen, transmen, and siblings.
Please help us in raising money for Bree's memorial expenses. All donations will be given to her immediate family. This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, and mental and grief counseling. All funds collected on this website will be withdrawn by Ms. Lakitra (Bree's Cousin/Auntie).
