BreadBox Theatre: Fund our Fringe!
Donation protected
We are a Toronto Based Theatre Company producing our first show together as a company!
Hello! Welcome to Breadbox Theatre and thanks for taking a moment to read our story.
“The Bread Cycle” is a three-part surrealist comedy epic that 'promises' laughter, imagination, and a touch of the unexpected. It’s the best thing since sliced bread!
Part I: Pigeon Play, a show originally produced at the York University playGround festival in 2020 follows a man who walks into a park and... well you'll see
Part II: The Untitled Bread Project, a show originally co-created and produced at the York University playGround festival in 2019 and rewritten for the Fringe stage. This show brings the party to the bread aisle, and well, not much else.
Part III: TBD, Well, that's where the magic of creativity comes in, is it cheap? Is it lazy? Do we have a plan? Well with your donation you will find out!
If you donate to fund our fringe, you're not just supporting our debut at the Fringe Festival; you're investing in the power of storytelling and the joy of shared experiences. Your support will go towards creating a fun show that allows you to escape from your every day worries. In the sourdough of life, let’s add a pinch of humour to lighten the loaf! Together, we can make our theatrical dreams a reality and bring a little bit of magic to the stage. Let’s dough it!
About Us:
We are all graduates of University Theatre Programs who have previously collaborated on University shows and are now reuniting to produce a brand new show to bring it to a new audience!
Where the Funds Go:
The funds go directly to the company in order to pay for, materials, set and costume expenses, festival fees, studio space, etc. Any excess funds will be split between paying the members of the company and sending to the company's fringe fund for 2025 in order to continue building our company!
