The past year has been a nightmare for my nephew. He has endured months of pain and suffering, beginning with a misdiagnosis that left him without answers or relief. As his health declined, he missed more and more work until he was eventually unable to work at all. He has spent countless days in and out of the hospital, fighting infections and undergoing treatments, before finally receiving a diagnosis of lymphoma. This diagnosis has changed everything. Along with the physical and emotional toll of cancer, he is now facing overwhelming financial stress from medical bills and everyday living expenses. Recently, he also learned that he is going to be a father in 2026 — a moment that should be filled with joy and excitement, now accompanied by uncertainty as he fights for his health.
