Brandi's Fight

On November 22nd, my daughter Brandi attended a pre-Thanksgiving celebration with two of her college friends at a neighborhood residence.  That night, my world came crashing down when one of her girlfriend's appeared at my home late that night to tell me that my 19 year old daughter had been the victim of random gun violence.  Brandi's father and I rushed to Newport News, VA Medical Trauma Center where we learned that our baby girl had been struck twice.  She sustained serious internal injuries to her abdomin, and her right foot. Nearly every organ in her petite body had been damaged. 
     One month later, Brandi remains in the Trauma Center seeking daily treatment. We pray for her continued healing and strength to begin her next phase of rehabilitation therapy.  However, it has been a slow and painful process due to the nature of her internal injuries.
      We are asking for your support to provide her with medical necessities in support of her healing.  We are thankful for God's Grace and Mercy in sparing her life; and for the support and generosity of our family and friends.
