Update Feb 2026- Brady is doing fairly well but needs bloodwork and exam and more meds. He also needs his rx diet. Total cost approx $850. Please help if you can. He can’t survive without this crucial care. 

Hi everyone, I need to reluctantly but sincerely ask for help with accessing an abdominal ultrasound at a specialist hospital and follow up care for Brady. He isn’t eating much and he’s just not himself. His vet recommends an ultrasound to see if anything is going on in his abdomen. He is mopey, subdued, very tired, not playing with his toys and barely eating. It’s so hard to see him like this.

Hoping to raise: $2800. (half for ultrasound half for follow up). I’ve spent a lot up to this point and am running out. Cost of living and a reduction in my income has made this really hard.

Background: Brady is a MAID kitty whose previous owner became very ill and died with the help of doctors the day I adopted him. It’s extremely important to me that I honour my commitment by ensuring Brady has the best medical care in his time of need. He had been in and out of shelters prior to his previous owner and had a rough start in life until he was around 5. It’s just the two of us and we are always together. It would be extremely sad to lose him, especially if this is treatable but the first step is ultrasound.
