Two of the most negative men you’ll ever nah, are trying to do something positive for a little bairn we nah.

Meet Aidan, a 2 year old kid who is fulla beans and fulla life. As it stands, it is highly likely that Aidan has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, which causes tightness in his arms and legs.

We want to make sure Aidan has the best possible start in life, and with the brain growing to about 90% of its adult size by age 5, it is crucial to do everything that can be done now to help like.

The family, Johnny and Kath have a goal, to fundraise for ongoing therapies and specialist equipment for them to have at home, as well as intensive treatment programmes that aren’t available on the NHS like. Sadly all this comes at a high cost that many families are priced out of, so this is why we are fundraising to give the family and Aidan all the help we can like.

To give you an idea on how these therapies help, recently Aidan went to the NAPA centre in London, this opened their eyes to Aidans potential. The repetitive structure of three hours a day for three weeks, focusing on creating new brain pathways worked so well, Aidan was able to take his first steps in an aided walker like. Right now, for Aidan to get about it’s by army crawl but he drags his legs and struggles to differentiate between them.

So what are we doing, as well as fundraisers that the family are running, Lund and I have decided to go dunk our heeds and jump into the North Sea like and partake in the traditional Boxing Day dip. So please, give what you can, little or large, everything counts and all money raised will be passed to the family for Aidans care.
