No Boxer Left Unblanketed

Our work supports NorCal Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues and provides shelter for boxers throughout Northern California, the Central Valley (Fresno or farther north) and around the Nevada/California state line area.
We became a part of the NorCal Boxer Rescue family in June 2013 when we adopted Juno. She brought us so much joy we wanted to pay it forward. In late 2015, as we transported our first dog for NCBR, the idea came to us to make and give a fleece blanket to the dogs we transport. We hoped this blanket could represent a warm and loving hug, welcoming each boxer into a new safe and secure life. The blanket could then go with the dog to their Fur-ever home.
Emma, pictured above, became the recipient of our first blanket! After a couple more transports we thought it would be wonderful if every boxer that was rescued by NCBR received a welcome blanket.
With the permission of NorCal Boxer Rescue this has become our goal. We have been able to pass out quite a few blankets but to reach all the dogs that are rescued we need your financial help. All monies raised will be solely used to purchase fleece and postage.
Last year NCBR was able to take in and care for over 80 dogs and in 2016 hopes to increase that number. We hope that a gift of a blanket will bring comfort to each boxer as they transition into their new foster home.
