In November and December 2019 my shop, like the rest of the city, faced the floods. January is considered low season anyway and this has not helped to recover. Since February 22nd the city has stopped again due to restrictions and fear for the coronavirus.
Hotels and apartments have registered cancellations ranging from a minimum of 40% to 100%.
In my shop the drop is estimated around 80% of loss.
The Italian government locked the country on march 11th, I closed the shop already the day before in order to protect my clients and myself from the chance of getting infected by covid19.

The lockdown is getting every day harder, psychologically at least. But I have been taught to act, so  I try continue working (online only) , I am postponing some  payment deadlines, I am thinking of promotions and enhance my online presence. However, many expenses cannot be canceled or postponed.

The generosity of the first donations gives me hope, however nobody can foresee when this nightmare will be over. It's taking longer than expected. Fortunately most people understood that we all have to stay home as much as possible and perhaps we will finally see the infections dropping in Italy and in the rest of the world.

                                            I want to be there ( for you)  also after the Coronavirus emergency!

I owe it to those who believed in me, supporting the idea of ​​this different optical shop, to my customers, to my friends and, why not, it is a form of respect also towards my suppliers.

As the fundraising has been opened to save my business (which is my only income) I don't want donations as a gift: the donations, will be considered as a deposit  for future purchases at Boudoir. In fact I am going to invoice every donation.
Who donates an X sum today, receives a  voucher to be spent (sooner or later) in my shop or on the online shop and it will be 35% more worth than the original sum. For example: you donate € 100.00, and I will discount you € 135.00 from your next purchase.*

So I will have the resources to carry on until the emergency of the virus has ended and you can get goods and services (at BOUDOIR level!) With a discount not even my closest friends get.

* Unfortunately, products such as contact lenses, maintenance solutions, and any item on SALES cannot be included.
There is no minimum donation amount.
As said, you can do online purchases. (if you choose something that costs less than the value of your coupon, please drop me a line and I will issue two vouchers, one to cover the purchase and you keep the difference as further credit)
Please note, as a commercial business I have to issue an invoice for each donation, so make sure to let me know your home address and e-mail or whatsapp  where you can send the Voucher, if you do not come in person to the store.

Nei mesi di novembre e dicembre il mio negozio, come tutto il resto della città, ha fronteggiato l'emergenza "acqua alta". Gennaio è un mese di bassa stagione e questo non ha aiutato a risollevarsi, ma dal 22 febbraio la città si è fermata un'altra volta a causa delle restrizioni e della paura per il coronavirus. 
Le strutture ricettive hanno registrato cancellazioni che vanno da un minimo del 40% fino al 100%. Nel mio negozio il calo del lavoro si stima intorno al 80%.  

Ho imparato a non piangermi addosso e non stare con le mani in mano: continuo a lavorare (solo online ), provo a posticipare le scadenze dei pagamenti, mi invento promozioni e potenzio la presenza online.  Molte spese però non si possono annullare o posticipare.  

La generosità delle prime donazioni, mi da ossigeno per un po', però nessuno può prevedere la durata di questa situazione. Per fortuna adesso stiamo tutti molto a casa e forse vedremo finalmente il calo dei contagi. 

                                             Voglio esserci per voi anche dopo l'emergenza

Lo devo a chi ha creduto in me, supportando l'idea di questo negozio di ottica diverso dal solito, ai miei clienti, ai miei amici e, perchè no,  è anche una forma di rispetto verso i miei fornitori.
             
Non chiedo donazioni a fondo perduto. 
Le donazioni ricevute varranno come acconto, per futuri acquisti da Boudoir e per ringraziarvi io ci aggiungo un 35% di valore.  In pratica chi dona oggi una somma , riceve un buono acquisto da spendere quando vuole nel mio negozio, di valore superiore alla donazione fatta.
Ad esempio doni € 100.00, e io ti sconto € 135.00* dal tuo prossimo acquisto. Ovviamente potete donare anche solo 5 Euro.

Così io avrò delle risorse per tirare avanti fino a quando sarà rientrata l'emergenza del virus e voi  in cambio avrete merci e servizi ( di livello BOUDOIR !) con uno sconto extra.

* purtroppo  prodotti quali lenti a contatto, soluzioni per la manutenzione, e articoli  in saldo non possono essere inclusi.
Non c'è importo minimo per la donazione.
Gli sconti saranno validi anche per gli acquisti online. ( se dovete comprare qualcosa che vale meno del vostro buono, mi avvisate e dividiamo il buono in due: il primo per il primo acquisto e la differenza, rimane sempre spendibile)
Attenzione, in quanto attività commerciale devo emettere fattura, quindi fate in modo di comunicarmi il vostro codice fiscale, indirizzo di residenza e un recapito e-mail o whatsapp dove mandarvi il BUONO, se non venite di persona in negozio.
