Boston One Step Marathon

Tax deductible

On April 20th, no one will cross the Boston Marathon finish line. Instead, our city’s doctors, nurses, and medical staff are on the front lines, running a completely different type of marathon, fighting the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak.

Boston Medical Center’s unique position caring for our city’s most vulnerable residents has never been more critical, and they need our help to ensure the safety of their patients and staff.  Community spirit matters now more than ever.  So, let's all come together to support them.

There are 55,374 steps in a marathon. Let’s all take one step and, together, we can not only "run a marathon" -  we can make a big difference in the fight against COVID-19.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Film yourself taking one step!
Feel free to also acknowledge the healthcare workers and others who are helping to fight this disease.

Step 2: Share your video on social media and encourage your friends and family participate.
Be sure to name-drop at least 3 others in your video, and tag them in your post.  And, include a link to Boston1step.com participants and bystanders can learn more and make a donation.

Step 3: Make a donation here and continue to spread the word!
Use the social sharing links on this page and share on your social channels.

Together, we can all join the fight against COVID-19 — one step at a time.
