I’m sure by now you have all heard about the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. The Bosque’s have been forever changed by this horrific fire. The Bosque Family is just that, our family. Friends who have become so mixed up in our lives, the good and the bad, that we might as well be blood. Abdiel came to Paradise in summer of 2017 for a job in Finance at Feather River Hospital. Whitney is world class mother, fierce protector, meticulous cleaner-upper, gourmet cook, and expert snuggler of their two precious boys. Ben, age 11, is a 6th grader at Paradise Adventist Academy. And little Ellis, 2.5 years old, is 27.8 pounds of fury, love and laughter. This family has been displaced and nearly destroyed by the fire. They recently found out that their house is still standing, but their journey IS NOT OVER. How do you return to a home that is so badly smoke damaged you must get rid of most things? How do you return to a town that is no longer? An article in SF Chronicle said it best “What is worse — losing everything? Or owning one of the few homes that survived, and moving back to a place where virtually nothing exists? Local leaders keep coming back to that question.”Please find it in your hearts to help this family. Their future, like thousands of others, is uncertain. Financial stability in the days, weeks and likely months to come is the most tangible way that you can help ❤️
