Boo Bar and Puerto Peñasco Fundraiser

Hola Amigos and Amigas,
We are accepting donations for those who wish to help the employees of your favorite restaurant, Boo Bar, in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), Mexico as well as the residents of Puerto Peñasco.
Graciously, Jose, the owner of Boo Bar, has been paying his employee's salaries since March with no income coming in for 3 months and very little income coming from June (and so far, July). This is even after the city lifted protocols, finally allowing them and other bars to open. Jose has not only helped his own staff, but he and his staff have also helped the community with raising donations and funds, as well as contributed time bagging groceries, unloading trucks, delivering food, among several other community services.
Jose is very humble and does not want this to be about him, but rather his staff and the people of Puerto Peñasco. This is why we started this GoFundMe. Therefore, we are hoping to raise at least $1000 USD per employee (20 employees times $500 USD a month for 2 months, for $20,000 total). In addition, our goal is to also help out as many families as we can who are currently unemployed and/or cannot put food on their tables or pay their utility bills.
Our goal is high and actually unlimited, as we all need to come together to generate enough funds to help out for the next few months.
We are currently working on other ways to bring funds to the community of Puerto Peñasco, such as Live Streaming concerts from bands that have played in Puerto Peñasco.
We will be VERY transparent with your donation and will update you with distributions on amounts, along with who they went to. With the recipients permission, we will also be showing photos of those you helped.
Every cent will be accounted for. You will see that 100% of your donation (minus GoFundMe fees) will be going directly to the staff of Boo Bar and the residents of Puerto Peñasco.
