Together we can bring behavioral health to every corner of the planet.
Join us in our restorative work and become a partner in our mission.
Help us raise $10,000 to fund our first project in Bolivia. Your contributions support our volunteer teams in providing no-cost behavioral healthcare services to clients at NOVO Communities .
Roadworks Collective’s mission is to build and connect a Christ centered international network of behavioral health volunteers that support our partners who are serving people in need.
Once we have the funds to launch our first project, what are our next steps?
$3000 of our budget goes to supporting our team in visiting our partner and spending time immersed in the life of the project. We want to spend time with our partner organization, their clients, creating deep and lasting relationships, and diving into the community to assess their needs. We will document and capture the gripping stories of these hero partners abroad as part of our advocacy.
$2000 goes towards acquiring the proper technology (laptops, TVs, web cams, wifi equipment) that would be needed to give each client access to our telehealth platform. We will also assess our client’s other financial needs. Once all the hardware is set up, we will need to hookup our software. We will need to assess and troubleshoot any issues along the way and have the resources available to ensure all our platforms are up and running with the proper maintenance and upkeep. These issues can include connectivity, user problems, and faulty hardware. Next we assemble and assign a team of bilingual volunteer clinicians, counselors, mentors and therapists to the center. This team will be loaded to our online telehealth platform where clients can schedule meetings, conversations, and sessions from anywhere on the globe.
The remaining $5000 in funds will provide overhead for the organization to ensure all operations are up and running for one year. This includes proper training, communication, support, managing the resource team, client relations, evaluation, and technical problems. We will be continuously assessing the needs of our partners and aiding the efforts of their mission. We will be creating and supplying the partner with other forms of digital resources for clients and staff including online courses, training modules on topics like addiction, trauma, family systems, managing mental health, and best practices. We want to ensure that our partners have access to the best resources available.
Communities and individuals around the world suffer from trauma, addiction, and other behavioral health concerns. Many are without appropriate access to the professional behavioral health resources they need. The heroes who serve them (our partners) can’t do it alone. They need support.
Without access to ongoing training, modern technology, and professional support, behavioral wellness is difficult, if not impossible, to facilitate for individuals and communities who are suffering. We’re solving that problem.
We believe in a world where everyone on the planet has access to the resources they need for cultivating wellness.
What's going on?
In complex, highly-traumatized regions of the world, behavioral health professionals have limited access to the support, training, and technology they need to carry out restorative work.
Why is that a problem?
These professionals are a key to helping communities heal, manage, restore, and grow from trauma, addiction, and/or other behavioral health disorders. In short, when they don’t have access to what they need, the people they serve suffer longer.
How do we help?
We're providing modern technology and expert telehealth training for these professionals. Our services connect them to the support and expertise of a team of clinical professionals and educators. They also have access to the knowledge and experience of wellness coaches, families, and faith-based supporters. Join our efforts!
How do we do it?
1.We identify and vet three nations in need per year. We create a relationship with a new partner to better understand their needs.
2. We provide the technology needed to utilize our services. We supply the technology needed to best support their mission. Our online database of clinical and other dedicated volunteers is made instantly available to partners and their communities.
3. Facilitate access to our intercultural resource team. Our online database of clinical and other dedicated volunteers is made instantly available to partners and their communities.
4. We provide ongoing support. Technology fails and people transform, so we provide ongoing support to meet the evolving needs of our partners and their communities.
Volunteers from all nations, working together.
The Resource Team is a global collection of clinical professionals, educators, family members, wellness coaches and faith-based supporters, who volunteer their time and abilities to serve the needs of our partners.
