My name is Badour. I am a mother of two young children and a cancer patient. I come from Gaza, where we lived a simple, peaceful life—until everything was shattered by war.
It will use only for me and my children.
Before the conflict, I was receiving cancer treatment in a hospital in Gaza. But that hospital was destroyed in the bombings. I had no choice but to flee, in the middle of my treatment, to save my life and protect my children. We first moved from Gaza to Rafah, where we suffered greatly—no safety, no medicine, no future.
Eventually, we were able to flee and hopes of continuing my treatment and giving my children a chance to return to school. But we came here with nothing. Our home was completely destroyed, and all our belongings, memories, and everything we owned in Gaza were lost. It’s painful beyond words to lose not just walls, but a lifetime of love and memories.
My children, Qusai and Taym, are still so young. They lived through seven months of war—seven months of fear, hunger, and trauma. They saw explosions, destruction, and death. These are things no child should ever witness. I’m doing everything I can to shield them, but I’m just one mother, struggling to fight cancer and rebuild a life from nothing.
As a cancer patient, I need continuous treatment, lab tests, and frequent scans. These treatments are expensive here in Egypt, and I cannot afford them alone. At the same time, I need to provide shelter, food, and education for my children.
We are in urgent need of your help to:
Cover the high costs of cancer treatment and medical follow-ups
Pay rent and daily living expenses
Help my children return to school and live a normal life
Rebuild even a small piece of the life we lost
I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for survival—with dignity. Every dollar you donate helps me continue my treatment, helps my children heal, and gives us a tiny ray of hope in a dark time.
Please, help us. Pray for us. Share our story. Every bit of kindness brings us closer to healing.
May God bless you for your compassion, protect your families, and reward your generosity.
