On the morning of April 1, 2017 the Benavidez family woke up to a tragic loss. Bobby Benavidez, a loving son, brother and friend, passed away in his sleep.
Bobby touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He had this beautiful presence that made you feel comfortable the minute you started a conversation. He made you feel like he had known you your whole life. His heart was filled with so much love and all he cared about was making sure his friends were happy. He was the most selfless person I have ever known and he never asked for anything in return.
Bobby at a very young age had to be a Father figure for his little sister and brother. When his Mother was unable to work, he took over the household bills and made sure his family was taken care of. He never once complained. He loved his family so much and always wanted the best for them.
The day I met Bobby my life changed forever. He was not only my best friend but my soulmate. A part of my heart has died but I'm so thankful for the 10 years he was in my life. I know Bobby would be worried about the finances his family will have to deal with and all I want is for him to rest in peace. Bobby was always thinking ahead on how he could prepare for the future and provide for his family but I know he wasn't planning on leaving so soon. His whole life he never asked for help but I know in my heart this is what he deserves.
