Call 2 Action for Homeless Kids

Donation protected
"Blind Fold" Music Video will benefit homeless children on Skid Row by:

 1) Spreading awareness about the 1.7 million homeless kids in the United States.

2) Put forth a powerful and undeniable call to action.

3) Give homeless kids the opportunity to experience the creative process. The students will be featured singing on the song, as well as participate in the filming as the most important focus of the video.

4) Launch an involvement campaign to bring new resources to homeless children.

Part one of the video will feature blind folded dancers on Skid Row's mean streets. Part two of the video will be a more hopeful rooftop scene on top of the homeless shelter with aerial drone shots against DTLA's skyline and staging of actual homeless kids and teens with powerful imagery and epic choreography to convey a powerful message.

This project was born out of the need to give these disenfranchised young adults a voice. The homeless kids living on Skid Row are part of a homelessness epidemic. We do not think of homelessness in relation to kids. This is the stereotype we need to change.

We are a massive show of artists/activists, innovators, dreamers and thinkers who are joining forces to co-create a better society. This is more than just a single story or video, it is a movement. A movement to end child homelessness because as a society when we are unified, there is so much more that we can do.

On behalf of my team as well as myself I would like to express my gratitude for your donation to this incredible project! These homeless kids need a voice, a real voice, a powerful voice. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.  We invite anyone that would like to be further involved to contact us as there is always room in our ever growing family of artists to give back to such a meaningful cause.

We also wish to extend an invitation to every single person who contributes to this campaign, to join us on our final day of shooting the music video during the powerful roof top scene in downtown L.A.

The money raised by this campaign will be used to cover the costs of the completion and mastering of the song, as well as the production costs for the music video itself.  Crew and post-production are the highest costs and things like rehearsal spaces for our dancers and choreographers as well as costs of the musical engineers are all part of the expected budget.

It is said that the only constant is change. We look forward to partnering with you to make a direct and intentional change in our community.

Sincerely,
