Bless Billy with a New Heart

For those of you that may not know Billy's story, let me give you a brief rundown of the events...
Billy was born with a life threatening condition called, transposition of the great arteries. At the time, an open heart surgery was required to keep him alive. This fix was only expected to last about 25 years at which time, they were told he may need addditional surgery for valve repairment. It's a miracle Billy has done as well as he has for as long as he has.
On August 30th, 2017 he entered the emergency room with chest pains. Tests were run and it was determined that he will need a heart transplant. His heart is wearing out. Presently, his heart is operating at 25% which is why he is struggling each day and is unable to work.
Needless to say both Bill and his devoted, loving wife, Laura were devasted. Its a blessing he's been given this warning. Typically, individuals with this condition receive no warning but suffer a fatal heart attack.
Not only does Billy need a transplant, but their financial situation has been arduous, as Billy is unable to work. Our intent as a community, is to rally around them and raise funds to ease their financial burden.There will be an event held at Club Garibaldi, in Bay View, Wisconsin. A raffle offering a variety of items donated from local businesses and individuals, will be held. Examples: local restaurant gift certificates, business services, Bucks tickets (donated by Colleen Pomeroy of Grandma's House Day Care), Packer tickets (donated by Joe Dean of Club Garibaldi), sports memoriablia, etc.
Joe Dean, of Club Garibaldi, will be hosting the event on Friday, November 17th. Beer, brats and burgers will be included in a donation cover charge, at the door, until they last. We are so greatful for Joe's wonderful generosity.
