Helping Hand for Glenda's Family
Donation protected
After much consideration and discussions with her doctor and family, Glenda made the difficult decision to stop cancer treatment at the beginning of November. It breaks my heart to say that Glenda passed away Sunday afternoon, December 15th. Glenda had peace at the end we are forever grateful, now she is in the arms of Jesus and her family that went before her. Now due to being out on medical leave for many months and with accumlation of expenses, her savings has been depleted and her family could use a helping hand. All funds will be used for end of life expenses and to cover mortgage/utilities for the next month while the family re-adjusts. Thank you for the consideration and kindness. ~ Kristin

Hello, I am coming to you about my best friend Glenda. I could write pages about how she has blessed my life and been there for me and so so many others, but if you know her, you know that about her and love her. I cannot begin to tell you all she has been through in her life, but without fail her strength and grace is unsurpassed. Glenda never advertizes when life goes sideways, she always puts on that great smile and presses on.
But now things have changed and I am asking that you step up and bless her...recently Glenda was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it is inoperable. Glenda will start treatment next week and she will need to put everything she's got into this fight. Glenda will work as she is able (she's a tough cookie), but as a contractor paid time off is not available.
Currently she has been in the hospital for 10 days and has missed work and with treatment she will be missing some more. I am coming to her friends, loved ones and even strangers to help relieve a burden so that she can focus what's important.
If you would please consider the following: 1) Pray for God to give her strength and peace, that she will always feel that love surrounding her and her family. 2) Please consider donating to help with cost of living while she goes through this journey, she does not need the extra stress or worry about financial matters. 3) Respectfully, I know hearing this is hard, but we would ask that you not reach out to her directly. Myself and her family will be providing updates on CaringBridge and when Glenda feels that she is able, she will also reach out.
With gratitude for your kindness,
Kristin & Glenda's Family
