Help Us Give Dustin Blalock a Proper Farewell

I’m My name is Kayla. I started this GoFundMe page for one of the best people I’ve ever known my whole life, Dustin Blalock. With permission from the family.Dustin was tragically killed in a car accident a few days before his birthday! If you knew Dustin, you didn’t just call him a friend, you called him Family. He never turned anyone away and was always there to help in any way. Whether you needed something moved or you needed a good talking to or someone to just listen, Dustin has been there for all of us. And it’s our turn to pay him back.

Thankfully, Dustin had a job At Pilgrims as an electrician with insurance and they should cover some of his funeral and burial costs. We will know more soon.

I’m at a loss for words right now because I never thought I’d have to write something like this about this man. My family. My one person. And it’s so funny because he was so many people's one person. He had a huge heart and he’s joining nanny now ! We’ve had good days and we’ve had bad days or bad years, but I know one thing and I know no matter what, Dustin was always there for me, and so many others.

Thank you everyone who donated. I lowered the goal to provide a headstone for him! We are still not sure what the remaining price of the death benefits will be, but for now we had a good standing. I expect I’ll change it again when we get the final cost of the coverage! This is a hard time not knowing what to do or in a waiting zone! But, he deserves a headstone as well! Whatever is left will go directly to victor for his headstone! Victor at schaeffer funeral home! I don’t know what life will be like that the world feels a little bit colder! I just want everyone to remember who he was to them and hang on that! Please don’t stop sharing and donating, nothing is too little or too big, it’s just honoring Dustin in the way we can now! Loving him by taking care of these things, his wife will be home soon and she shouldn’t have to be met with all of this and his mother dealing with it now!

I’ve never felt more drive and determination to make sure this is taken care of for him!

I can’t do it alone but, he would never let any of us do it alone either !!!

what way to put life into perspective!!! Hold your people close, Visit them, And love them as loud as Dustin was in everything he did!! Loud, laughter, tears, he wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable, and he was never afraid to be who it was! I’m gonna miss him so much! I already do!!
