Our son Aaron woke up this morning crying because his teeth were hurting him
again. We recently took Aaron to a dental specialist that we were referred to in
Springfield. Aaron has been having major trouble with his teeth. When he was
born he quit breathing and was on antibiotics. We think that the antibiotics
have weakened the integrity of his teeth. As a result they had to pull one of
his teeth that were causing him major pain and he has 16 other teeth that need
major attention. They said that if this is not taken care of immediately that
Aaron will suffer much more pain and long term ramifications with his permanent
teeth. The
dental work and surgery is going to be roughly $8,000 which has to be paid up
front.
We are asking people to chip in because in July 2008 I had brain surgery for a tumor. The insurance company did not pay the $110,000 worth of bills after approving them. We had to pull out all of our retirement to pay for my medical bills as I had ongoing medical needs and ongoing care. In this economy I have had little income for the past 2½ years since my surgery. We do not have the ability to pay this and we are not able to get a loan as our income is just barely covering our monthly expenses and we have no money in reserve.
If you can chip in $5, $10, $15 or as much as you feel lead and then pass the word on to others we need to raise the money in the next few weeks. The dentist told us it was a ticking time bomb and I think the bomb went off this morning. We are asking a lot of people to just chip in a little and a few that feel lead to chip in more.
It is humbling to ask for help but we do need help meeting the needs for Aaron over the next few days if at all possible.
Children are a blessing from the Lord and we are asking for your help to be able to take care of and provide for the need of this precious little one.
Blessings,
Tim
