Black Dog Forge Recovery

Black Dog Forge founded in 1989 by Louie Raffloer and Mary Reid Gioia has since turned out many artisan blacksmiths and teachers of blacksmiths in the Pacific North West. For over a quarter of a century the shop has nourished and fed the soul of culture and creativity in Seattle. The landlord after many good years has decided to follow the path of selling in a time of booming real estate prices and so, Black Dog is out to find a new place to live. We need your help and support to keep the spirit of creative development alive in Seattle through this time of change by donating. We will use funds raised to move 25 years and many tons of art supplies to a new location where we will keep making beautiful things for Seattle and beyond. We will be having other fundraising events you can learn about by following our Facebook Page @blackdogforge or  Instagram @BlackDogForge.
