A low income senior’s journey to restoring his vocal abilit

Hello, my friends and music lovers,
Let me introduce myself. I'm Bill Stallings, a low-income senior who has spent a lifetime behind the microphone, sharing my passion for music with the world through live radio and production. Music has been my solace, my joy, and my livelihood for over 50 years. I am Blessed to offer and share my vocal talents and musical knowledge, everything I produce now is volunteer.
But lately, life has thrown me a curveball . (Which, by the way, is how I make my livable income other than SS. I umpire baseball softball , fast pitch and slow pitch , 9 months a year, as much as weather allows-and assignments Im offered, at 73 I love the air , the game , exercise and brain work, but still takes a physical toll, and is a Necessity for survival .). As a senior living on a semi-fixed income, every dollar counts. I've juggled rent, food, insurance payments, and other essentials, trying to make ends meet. However, my teeth, the very tools I've used to articulate my passion, have finally given in.
The deterioration of my dental health has reached a critical point, impacting not only my ability to eat but also threatening my ability to speak clearly. As someone who relies on their voice to connect with listeners, recording public service announcements, and promote the music I love, this is a devastating blow. Most of the music I play, share and send out is purchased by me, and there is never any charge.
I've explored every avenue to finance the dental procedures I desperately need, but I find myself caught in an embarrassing bind. My modest income, is poverty level in Ca. , and the limitations of my insurance coverage doesn’t cover any cost of this treatment. I am actually planning on having this , so important procedure, done at the Dental School in SF. They don’t take insurance, but the total cost 10,000 is half the amount anywhere else. Thankfully for that.
That's why I'm reaching out to you, dear friends, for a helping hand. Something I never thought I would have to do. I'm seeking to raise at least $5000 to cover the down payment and subsequent expenses for the dental work I require. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to reclaiming my vocal skills and my livelihood.
Your generosity will not only enable me to eat and speak without pain but will also allow me to continue doing what I love – sharing the magic of rock music with audiences old and new, and promoting the nonprofit Ksvy.org that enables me to just that. Your support means more than words can express, and I promise to cherish it forever.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my story and for any assistance you can provide.
Together, we can ensure that the music never stops playing.
“Through Music We Feel”
With love and gratitude,
Bill
p.s. To all those who have generously donated my heartfelt appreciation. I’ve had donations from people I don’t really, and some of the people I do consider friends acquaintances , I hear nothing, my future overall physical and mental health I must rely on you… it’s not a good feeling or situation to be in, this is my last resort. Please any small amt is critically important! Thank you Bill
