Our friends Bill and Kim need your help!
Kim went to Texas to help her step father rebuild his home which had been heavily damaged in a flood. Things were going to be tight, but they could manage... However, Kim was in Dallas for two days, and she had a stroke. So now things are really REALLY difficult!
Right now, we aren't sure how much damage the stroke has done. There are signs that Kim actually had one or two mini-strokes that they didn't even know about.
Bill and Kim live in Orlando, and Bill hasn't been able to travel yet to join Kim in Texas, because he doesn't have enough money to do so. Besides, they need to cover their monthly expenses (rent, phone, food, dog & cat supplies), plus money to cover all the medical expenses. Besides all the hospital expenses, she'll need daily physical and speech therapy, plus medications. They don't know what the medical expenses are going to be, but they aren't going to be cheap, for sure!
