It is life’s great tragedy that the oversized caring heart we have come to love and admire in our friend Bill, is ultimately what failed him.
William “Bill” Kucharski, beloved partner to Wes Wagaman and treasured friend to many countless others, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of January 9, 2016. He leaves behind his partner of 11 years Wes, five loyal and loving canine companions and one recently rediscovered personal passion found in his horse Lighting.
It is no great secret that Will was an avid animal lover and champion of the pet rescue crusade. He often participated in rescue operation efforts benefiting the four legged friends he called family. In fact, many of the pets in his home today and over the years came to join his family through foster and rescue situations brought upon by his loving and selfless actions.
Bill touched so many lives and the outpouring of love, friendship, and support has been overwhelmingly positive. In late February/early March, a private memorial and celebration of his 50 years’ of life will be held for family and close friends (exact date, time and location TBD).
As many have asked how they can best show their support to honor Bill, in lieu of flowers, we are asking for donation to this foundation to benefit animal haven and rescue entities in Bill’s honor. His partner Wes Wagaman will be targeting distribution of the support funds collected to the two animal rescue organizations listed below with which Will has been closely affiliated or held in high regard:
1. In Harmony with Nature Animal Haven: a locally based Orlando, FL animal haven and rescue organization.

2. Majestic Canine Rescue: based in Yoder Colorado this dog rescue facility specializes in providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs of all breeds. http://majesticcaninerescue.squarespace.com
No donation amount is too small, anything is appreciated and all funds will be dispersed among the organizations listed. Bill would be so honored to help these organizations and continue the rescue efforts of the so many neglected, abused and forgotten pets.
