Join Bill Fritsch's Cancer Battle

Bill Fritsch was recently diagnosed with Colangio carcinoma (sp)Rare form of Liver cancer associated with the Bile duct.  Over the last month he has had several biopsies, upper and lower GI's, a port introduced and started Chemo. The only real cure is to shrink the tumor through radiation then surgically remove it. Experimental radiation is also being discussed to improve the chance of shrinking the mass. This may or may not be covered by insurance. Even with his current insurance  and a very high deductible  the out of pocket will be substantial.

Biggest setback is his  inability to work now and in the near future do to the effects of chemo and constant visits to the multiple doctors including, Oncologist, Surgeons, Gastro intestinal, Radiologist.

He is living on his limited savings now.  As a realtor he is self employed.  The next month will tell the tale of prognosis. If the tumor has shrunk and there is no spread then we have a good chance for a cure.

The money will be used for medical expenses not covered by insurance, which will be substantial, to basic living expenses, House, car, utilities food Etc. since  he will not have any income to speak of for 4 to 6 months.
