Dear friends, I wanted to update everyone on my recovery progress following a serious incident on August 11th, 2025, when my e-bike was struck by a car while I was commuting to work. After undergoing my second surgery on December 8th, I anticipate being out of work for at least another five months. Fortunately, my job has been held open for my return. However, aside from my health insurance coverage, I have limited financial resources. Due to not driving for years, I lack alternative means of support. In light of this situation, I am reaching out for monetary assistance, a step I've rarely taken. Any contributions would be allocated towards covering the $9,000+ in unpaid medical bills, that health insurance doesnt pay.( more coming with the second surgery Dec 8th, plus new year new deductible to pay.) as well as $6,000 in damages to the vehicle that collided with mine, as liability has been determined.
