My project is to buy discarded bikes by the kilo
that I find from the junk yards and scrap piles around the greater area. Then rebuild and fix them up for kids that do not yet have a bike. These kids lifes change in a instant. Mainly for me is that they get out and stop watching T.V. or scrolling the small screen and get outside with their brothers, sisters and friends. They share their bikes, ride them to school up to 4 km. away or to their friends house to play. After the first 4 bikes I noticed the activity of the kids outside had changed dramaticly. This in turn has had some great far reaching afects on this little remote village in Costa Rica.
