Big Apple Basketball Showcase

I have been given the tremendous opportunity to be on the Junior Board of Directors for Big Apple Basketball (BAB). Since 2003, BAB has assisted thousands of youth in furthering their educational, athletic, professional, and life skill development.
Within the past five years, 246 participants have received college scholarships. We have also attracted youth who have gone on to play in the NBA, including Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Danny Green, Isaiah Thomas and Andre Drummond.
On December 6 and January 16-18, we are hosting two showcases to help local student-athletes gain exposure for college scholarships. There are a variety of expenses to make this program a success. Expenses include, facility rental, apparel, awards, referees, promotions, and other administrative expenses.
My missions is to help us raise money to cover the costs of the student-athlete awards and t-shirts. My personal goal is to raise $1650 and I will match all contributions with my own money. If you can help this cause with a simple donation, whether it be 20 dollars or 500 dollars, I will greatly appreciate it.
