Donation protected
Our short film 'Big City Earnerz' follows Hamish, a young street artist's desperate struggle to find a voice in the underground subculture. When his attempt at infiltrating the street art scene is disapproved of by a gang of street thugs who steal his supplies before running off into the night, Hamish retraces the steps of his assailants by following a trail of spray tags that they have left behind. This catapults him on an odyssey through grungy inner-city Melbourne, where he comes face to face with some of Melbourne's most iconic art pieces and landmarks. Inspired by the sights and sounds of the city, Hamish learns that he can draw from his own experiences and the surrounding culture to make more meaningful pieces of art and breakthrough to a wider audience.

How Your Support Will Help
Big City Earners is to be shot entirely on 16mm film, which is a very costly endeavour, and most contributions will go towards purchasing the required rolls of film. On top of this, we need a substantial amount of money to help fund artists, props and additional equipment on set among other things. We are all very passionate about this film, any support will be extremely appreciated. The more money we can afford to spend on the project, the better it will be.
Benefits:
- Everyone who donates will have their name featured in the credits
- If you donate $20 or more, contact me with your email so that we can send you a digital pack of Melbourne landscape stills taken on set. These will be distributed at the end of the production via email.
