When you hear the news that you'll be a Mom, trust me from that moment on your whole world changes in an instant. Not at any point in time do you stop and think about any bad moments that might occur, you only think about all the great times and the memories you will soon have.
Bibi is a loving, caring, smart, athletic, full of energy 9 year old girl. Sadly, she was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma Cancer. On March 16, 2020, Bibi was told she'd need an MRI for a persistent pain that she had on her left femur. Once the MRI was done she was then she was referred to a Pediatric Oncologist. March 18th, the oncologist told Bibi's Mommy it was indeed a tumor on her left femur above her knee. A biopsy was done, only to confirm that it was OSTEOSARCOMA on March 31st. Bibi's mom was told that Bibi would be starting her Chemotherapy the next day. Her treatment is estimated to be for 9 months long, needing surgery in a few months. The tumor has been found to be the size of a gulf ball approximately. She will be needing several months of chemotherapy, among many medications and visits to her specialists. Sarah and Bibi will be traveling weekly to Driscoll's Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi on a weekly basis for her treatments. Medical expenses as well as travel expenses will occur.
I humbly come to you to ask for any donation that you could provide during these very difficult times. Sarah has been a tough, hard working, dedicated, loving, and providing mother to Bibi and Hector (Bibi's Baby Brother) During these times, Sarah will have to leave her job to care for her child.
This family does not deserve to worry about their financial situation, when they have their child's health to worry about.
I am humbly asking for your participation in this fundraiser to help Bibi and her parents with medical and personal bills. Their sole focus right now is Bibi's road to recovery. Aside from fundraising, we also deeply appreciate prayers for our Bibi.
Please help my niece out with anything you can and if not financially, with a full of faith prayer everyday.
