Hello my name is Bianca Grimsley and I'm currently a freshman student at North Star Academy (NSA) College Preparatory High School in the City of Newark, New Jersey. I remember the first day at Dayton Street School basement. I met this wonderful, positive,brave, encouraging lady with a big smile that looked like me named, Mrs. Julie Jackson.
This was the beginning of a rigorous and challenging, but promising future of a North Star student.
I achieved academic merits throughout my ten years at NSA and I will continue this journey for the next three years at NSA.
Law has been a passion of mine for a long time, I never had any doubts that becoming an attorney may not be my dream job. Last year I was an intern for Judge Pratt (from Newark Municilpe Courts) who showed me what it was like in the courts system and how it felt to be in charge of the court. This experience clarified that law was the dream job for me and now that I have been invited by this summer program at Stanford this dream will put me closer a reality. My goal has always been to attend Harvard or Stanford because their lawschools are at the top of any college/university.
I am estatic to have the opportunity to attend the Envision program at the prestigous Stanford University, in Stanford, California. Envisions is a summer Intensive Law & Trial program, which I'm thrilled to be invited to.
Although I was invited to other universities for their summer program, I am most interested in Stanford University. I was invited to all of these programs because of my high score on the PSAT's.
By donating,sharing,and liking my campaign you will help me to finace the expenses for going to this program.These expenses will cover the flight, transportation as needed for off site activities, a full schedule of classes, housing accommodations at Stanford University, briefings, lectures, simulations, all on campus meals, course materials , funds for off site meals and a personalized certificate of completion.
