Bens Fight from ICU to Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, My beloved and only Brother is in critical condition in the ICU after a series of devastating events that have left him fighting for his life. The past year has been incredibly tough on him, both physically and emotionally, and now, more than ever, he needs our support. In October 2023, Ben suffered broken ribs while playing six-a-side football a hobby that kept up his spirits and social life, however also put him out of work. Just as he was starting to recover, he sustained an eye injury in February 2024, which left him struggling even further.

All of this came on the heels of a heartbreaking relationship breakdown, which also meant he lost daily contact with his children and his family home was now empty. These compounding challenges have made it nearly impossible for him to get back on his feet, and now his health has taken an even more serious unexpected turn. Anyone who knows Ben knows his incredible sense of humour, which has always brought joy to those around him. His laugh, quick wit, and ability to make people smile are deeply missed by all who love him. We are praying that he can fight through this and return to being the vibrant, caring, and funny person we all know. Right now, as he lies in the ICU, being unable to work, I am here reaching out to you all. With no fixed income and no opportunity for sick pay due to being Self Employed, and the prospect of a long recovery ahead, Ben is facing significant financial hardship. We are just praying he pulls through, but even with the chances he has right now his recovery will not be instantaneous. I am going to try my absolute best to support Ben financially as much as I can. However, this may not be sustainable for the long term, and I just may not be able to cover his costs alone. That’s why I am reaching out for Help, Your donations will go directly toward covering his, daily living costs, his Mortgage and other general expenses ensuring he has the resources to focus on healing and rebuilding his life.
