Trip to Zambia with Overland Missions!

THE NEWS:

Hey all! My name is Ben Schatt and I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Throughout college I have been involved with, served, and led in Chi Alpha, a Christian student ministry on campus that is on a mission to love Jesus every day, everywhere, always!

It was through Chi Alpha, Cru, and other Christ-centered communities in Madison that I met and became friends with Zach F. Zach soon introduced to me an opportunity to join Overland Missions for an expedition. I've finally said yes to that opportunity to go and share the Gospel through this challenging trip! I have a story to tell of who Jesus is, how He met me, and how He has saved and redeemed me! I can't keep that Living Hope to myself.

I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to travel with a small team to Zambia from June 10th - June 30th! It will be a challenging time of learning, listening, and sitting at the feet of Jesus as He leads me through this trip. The trip will be focused on sharing the Gospel with people we meet as my team and I live and stay with a remote village. We'll also be partnering with the local Church in outreach/sharing about Jesus and prepping for long term OM missionaries to come and live there. I am hopeful and expectant that God will use this trip in incredible, powerful, insightful, and radical ways in the lives of people we meet, as well as my own!

THE COST:

I am looking for team members who are willing to financially help me be able to go on this adventure, and in doing so ultimately investing in and partnering with what God is doing across the world.

Here is the breakdown:

- General Trip Cost and Deposit - $2,100

- Domestic Flights - $2,539

- Travel Insurance - $30
