Hello, my name is Ben. I am a recently retired American. Many years ago I met an Australian named Steve online. We quickly became best mates. In 2022 I finally got to visit Steve in the Land Down Under. I already knew I liked the people, and I immediately fell in love with the country itself. Not long after, I met a beautiful lady named Sharyn on a popular dating site. We immediately hit it off, and I realized I had found the woman of my dreams. Sharyn is a former psychologist and school teacher. She had to stop working due to chronic illness. She has survived cancer three times. She has an indomitable spirit, and is a kind and loving person.

I will be traveling to Australia in September 2025. Sharyn and I plan to marry when I am there, and then I shall apply for an Australian partner visa. This visa will allow me to stay in Australia indefinitely while we settle into our new life together. I will continue to receive payments from our American Social Security Retirement, until such time as I am granted Australian citizenship.

I have enough savings for my travel and sundry expenses. Sharyn is a homeowner, but was the victim of a scam and lost her entire savings. Our two biggest obstacles at this point are the costs of the visa, and the hiring of a professional migration agent to help us navigate the process.
