Bella's Haiti Trip

About 2 years ago, I was given the amazing opportunity to spend a week in Haiti meeting young children and spreading the gospel. As most of you may know, I have two major passions in my life: volleyball, and Missions work. In 2014, I was able to bring those two passions together and create a really special experience for not only myself, but also the others on the trip as well as the Haitian children. I grabbed my favorite ball and net, and brought it with me to Haiti. Little did I know that this trip would change my life. After being there only 2 weeks, with help from some of my teammates, I had taught a group of Haitian children how to play my favorite sport. To this day they still play in Haiti, and I can’t wait to join them this summer and see how much they’ve grown. I have since then always had Haiti on my mind, and the little kids that I came to know on my adventure. This year I am trying to go back, from July 26th to August 2nd. I hope to rejoin the friends I’ve made and create new relationships in Les Cayes. I would be so grateful for any contributions made so that I can go on this trip. Every penny helps!
