Bella is a precious 18 year old young lady. She loves to sing and make up stories. She is a senior this year. She would be unable to go to school, to her therapies and doctor appointments OR ANYWHERE ELSE without her van. She had her van because when she was 5 years old during her therapy session her wonderful therapist, who had Bella in her arms, tripped over a toy on the floor resulting in Bella being dropped. Her left femur was broken in half. Her therapist was also injured. Bella ended up at Shriners and in a body cast for 3 months. Due to the injury Bella received a modest settlement and that’s how she got her van! She suffered but ended up with a handicap accessible van which has made her life so much better as well as her Nannie and her nurse Teresa. I cannot pick her up at all now. I was told today by Bryan Honda that the torque converter is bad and the entire transmission will have to be replaced. Bella has to have her van. I cannot afford to replace it. Your gifts would be so greatly appreciated. Bella is a quadriplegic cerebral palsy due to a non-accidental brain trauma. She is also legally blind but can see. Her work has to be enlarged.
