A Dedicated Father/Husband In Need.

I've chosen Go Fund me, to try and help raise money for my father. In 2013, our family was devastated, when we found out my mother had been diagnosed with cancer. In August of 2015 my family unfortunately lost my mother to cancer, after battling for two years. Over the 2 years after we found out my mother battled cancer the best she could. In the process my mother had to leave her job as a cook for a college, which she loved to do very much, because she began chemotherapy and couldn't be around a lot of people due to germs which could cause serious complications for her.  At the time we found out my mother had cancer, my father had already been out of work from his job of 15+ years, because he injured his back. The bills added up quickly for my mother’s chemo treatment and they were very expensive. At that point my father had to use the money he had saved up in his retirement fund, just to try and cover the cost of my mother's treatment.  In the process of getting hurt from work, my father and mother were dropped from their life insurance, which was covered with my father’s job. The only way he could get them back on the insurance was to pay an extremely higher payment per month, which they couldn't afford. My mother was no longer covered when she passed away, and my father had to pay for the funeral out of his own pocket. My father used the reaming balance of his retirement to pay for the funeral and burial. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough left to cover the remaining balance. Since then my father has tried to keep up with all his bills and hasn't been able to. Now they have added up, along with the remaining cost of my mother’s funeral. My father has done nothing but help people and has never asked for anything in return. My brothers and I help him as much as we can, but we can't do enough, I'm trying to raise this money so he can pay off the funeral costs, and the bills that have piled up in the process. Anything you can help with is greatly appreciated.
