Behind the Grind

Hi Community!!
We are running a charity based- community coffee cup venture early this year.
In short, we would love your support in the creation of a webpage and coffee cups to accompany it. Below is everything you need to know.
1.0 What is this project?-
· A community based coffee cup venture – ‘Behind the Grind ’
2.0 How it works?
· Over one month, 14 local cafes have committed to improving awareness around domestic and gender based violence.
· Four women who have been victimised by domestic violence, and have found the strength and support to turn their lives around, have shared their stories.
· We have translated their stories into art on coffee cups (Prototype cups above)
· Each week, different cafes will stock the designs.
· A website will be created that will support the coffee cups.
· It will inform the general public about the venture
· Tell the womens stories.
· Provide information around support networks.
· Act as an ongoing source of information to help provide a domestic violence lense to the community
· Participating cafes will offer a donation to SAHSSI women’s refuge – a not for profit organisation based in Wollongong
What we are asking from you!
A small contribution on your behalf will go a long way in the materialising of this webpage and the creation of the coffee cups. Lots of people can donate money to charity, but not everyone can be a part of the process.
