Beautiful Me

Lucane LaFortune is organizing this fundraiser.
I am raising funds to complete my children’s book called “Beautiful Me.”  This project is close and dear to my heart because it addresses the issue of body positivity.  Growing up, I did not have any role models like Lizzo who taught me to love my body.  Like many children around the world, I never saw anyone with a body like mine unless it was a villain, or someone being ridiculed.  Despite the negative messages that I received from society and my loved ones; I saw beauty in me.  This book will teach children about how to look within and nature for validation.
