Casey Montgomery Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Casey D. Montgomery. I am the son of Thomas Montgomery, Melissa Walker, and Kenneth Walker. I am a junior at Fishers High School with a passion for Computer Science and Engineering. As many of you know, I am honored to be among a small group of distinguished African American young men who have been selected to participate in a Scholarship Program sponsored by the Indianapolis chapters of two national organizations.
Through this mentoring scholarship program we have been given a challenge to raise scholarship dollars for our collegiate goals.
Since middle school I have had the goal of pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana. During my freshman year of high school I had the opportunity to participate in an internship at IUPUI where I learned the basics of building computers and mobile applications. I have been working hard to self-teach and stay current in new technology applications, volunteering as a youth advocate for the American Heart Association, playing AAU basketball and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
I have set an ambitious fundraising goal. The names of our sponsorship donors will be printed in our scholarship dinner program. No gift is too small.
If you would like to contribute please do so by donating to my GoFundMe page by February 28, 2016.
Thank you for your time and your support in my journey to one of the top engineering schools in this country!
Sincerely,
Casey D. Montgomery
