Beau grew up in Tuolumne, California and graduated from Summerville High School in 2010. He played football at Modesto Junior College earning his Associates degree and then went on to graduate from the University of Buffalo, New York in 2014 playing football there for 2 years. Unfortunately in January 2020 Beau was told he had stage 3 Esophageal cancer. This is a rare cancer and for a 28-year-old it is extremely rare. It extended from his esophagus into this stomach. He underwent treatment including chemotherapy and radiation and eventually a radical surgery to remove his stomach. After fighting for 8 months he was told that he was cancer free. Unfortunately, just 3 months later after a follow up scan he was told that his cancer had returned and had spread into his liver and lungs advancing to stage 4. He is now under the care of UCSF hospital and is undergoing weekly chemotherapy treatments.  There will also be a BBQ for Beau on April 11.
