Bayleah (15 year old) 10-21-2007 to 9-1-2023

Hi, my name is Jenn! In the summer of 2022, I was getting back into cat rescue. I met a wonderful lady through Facebook named Heather. Heather and I had the same goals - simply save all the cats and to hell with the humans. lol Just kidding, I think what separated Heather and I from a lot of other groups was we were good with humans too. Heather and I later added another wonderful addition - Joy and she became another admin on our Spay & Neuter America TNR page.

But this is about Bayleah, Heathers 15 year old daughter. She died unexpectedly in her sleep early Friday morning on September 1, of 2023. Joy and I have decided to start this Go Fund Me to help Heather in this difficult time. Funerals are so expensive and no one prepares to bury their child - financially or emotionally.

I got to know Bayleah while working with Heather. And let me tell you she was Heather’s mini me, from looking like her twin to her love of cats and everything in between. I remember once her telling me when she grows up she’s going to be a vet and offer low cost TNR. (and shhh! I couldn’t tell anyone but just for her mom and I - it will be free!) She loved to go with her mom to trap cats, to release cats, to transport cats, to feed cats.

Heather has not only been an admin for the page, but she has been a foster, she has been a driver, and so many other roles. All but 2 of the trips done in the year 2023 thus far have been completed by Heather.

Heather has been there for the TNR community time and time again. It’s time we are there for her.

Bayleah leaves behind 3 younger brothers Zakery 14 who is autistic and struggling to understand, Joshua (Joshie) 12, Karter 8, and her mother Heather.
