With Gratitude – An Update from the Heart

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I want to take a moment to say thank you — from the bottom of my heart — to everyone who contributed to my GoFundMe and supported me during one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

Last year, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and facing the very real threat of eviction from my apartment, your generosity, prayers, and encouragement helped carry me through. Because of you, I was able to focus on fighting for my life and completing treatment — including chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and radiation — without losing the roof over my head. That kind of love and support is something I’ll never forget.

I’m incredibly grateful to share that my recent CT scans show no evidence of breast cancer. While I continue to recover from the physical toll of that fight — managing fatigue, pain, and the long healing process — I’ve stayed hopeful and focused on the future.

Unfortunately, my journey is not over. I’ve recently been diagnosed with colorectal cancer, caught very early at Stage 1, and tomorrow, I will undergo surgery to remove the remaining margins of the tumor. I remain faithful and optimistic that this next chapter will move me even closer to being fully cancer free.
